Well it's the last few days of work before the Christmas holidays...
Last week I finished my two papers due for my profs back home. The first one was a complete success. I'm still waiting on the results from the second one...so cross your fingers! I'm so relieved to have those done and out of the way. On to more pressing matters! I have to get organized and fill out my paperwork for application to the PhD program. I also have to get signed up for next semester's courses. Hopefully I won't have to do anymore really intensive school work here though...it can wait until I return home!
The weekend was super fun! We had a girls' night out on Friday night and went pub crawling before ending up at a house party. I also attended a 6 year old's birthday party yesterday! Oh man, I've never seen so many kids running around, popping balloons, and dancing! I know nothing of High School Musical and I could have done without EVER hearing the "Barbie Girl" song again, however, it was highly amusing!
I finish at the university on Wednesday for a few weeks. We are having our work Christmas dinner tomorrow night, then it's time to get packing! I'm headed to London on Thursday for an in-store gig at Puregroove Records...starring none other than, Frank Turner! The long awaited for arrival of my mom and sister will be over early Saturday morning when I go and collect them from Gatwick airport. Then it's off on our week o' fun! We've got more things packed into eight days than may be possible, but we've got to give it a bash don't we? Pictures and fun stories to come I'm sure!
I've also got my ticket booked for Italy! I leave January 4th! I absolutely can not wait! The next few weeks will fly by so quickly and then it's only two months until I come home...the new year will bring much to look forward to though!
Also, I will get some pics from our Christmas decorating up sometime this week, so stand by!

:-)
Hope you have lots of fun with your mom and sis.
Can't wait to see you one day soon.
Glad things are done with papers.
